The 15th edition of the biennial event for young contemporary artists will be held from June 10th to 13th of 2023. As such, 45 young graduates from French and European art schools will have the opportunity to exhibit their works at Motoco.
Since its creation, the biennial has always sought to encourage the emergence of a new European contemporary art scene. Specific attention to the layout of the exhibition spaces (within the framework of a scenography that has already been completely revised in 2021) and a reinforced and anticipated involvement of the art colleges will accompany this movement.
Mulhouse 023 is thus equipped with a new selection method for candidates : each school is invited to distribute the information to its 2021 and 2022 graduates and more specifically to select 5 of them (artists or collectives). A selection jury made up of curators, gallery owners and art world professionals will then meet to select 45 participants from all the projects submitted.
